A message from the founders

Thank you for considering IncludeCare as your support and care provider for disability services.

IncludeCare was created for a simple reason: we could not find the standard of support our family needed, so we built it ourselves.

As parents of a young man with an intellectual disability, we understand the challenges of searching for reliable, capable support in Port Macquarie care, only to be let down repeatedly. Too often, we experienced a mismatch between what was promised and what was delivered. Workers arrived lacking the skills or experience required, and it sometimes felt like the focus was on filling shifts rather than providing person-centred support for someone with high needs.

That is not good enough.

So we designed a different model: a support approach built on capability, consistency, and genuine care. We created a supported living environment and a team structure focused on the individual, their day-to-day needs, and the goals that matter to them. We seek individuals who take pride in disability support work, who are eager to learn, who show up with the right mindset, and who are dedicated to doing the job properly.

The impact has been real. With the right team and consistent support, our son has not only met goals but frequently exceeded them. Progress that once felt out of reach has become normal, and improvements have been so significant that therapists have updated plans and reports to keep pace. That is what happens when disability services are delivered with skill, structure, and respect.

We are sharing this because we believe every person with a disability and every family deserves the same standard. People should be able to access support that is delivered by qualified, experienced staff, with a team that collaborates with them to build independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
