About the role

We are looking for experienced support and care workers who are passionate about providing high quality care and support to our clients. 

What would my day look like?

If we are lucky to have you on our team, you will assist with:

• in-home and participation in community and social activities
• travel and transport arrangements
• development of daily living skills.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Performing daily household tasks with participants that can include menu planning, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, shopping, laundry, bed making and light garden activities;
• Assisting individuals to maintain relationships with their family, friends, and advocates;
• Helping individuals develop and maintain personal independence within their home with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, showering and safe and enjoyable mealtimes;
• Assisting individuals in their personal and health care by providing support with medication ensuring correct dosages as prescribed, seizure response, and health needs.
• Community engagement and participation including individual and group based activities.

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with people in the disability and aged care sectors and are committed to helping individuals to participate in all aspects of their lives at home and in the community. 

People with proven experience in supporting people with intellectual or cognitive disability, neurodivergent conditions (such as autism or ADHD) and experiencing mental health will be highly regarded.
